Road Trips

I think it is in our family DNA to take road trips. We have been doing so for decades. All of my fondest memories are road trips with my family. I have been continuing on that tradition with my son and boyfriend. We average one big road trip a year.

Last year we experienced a route 66 road trip. We visited so many states, and found fun and quirky sites along the way. You truly experience the country through driving. Flying in and staying within a few blocks of the major cities, is an experience and can be great, but you don’t find those hidden gems like you do when in a vehicle and the total freedom to explore.

We recently returned from a road trip from MN to Hilton Head Island, SC. The ocean is amazing, those signs and memes exclaiming “salt life”, I get now! I felt amazing and my skin and hair were never better. My feet miss the white sand!

I have a bucket list goal to explore every state in our amazing country. I am 7 short!

So watch out OR, WA, LA, AK, ME, NH, VT, there will be road trip adventures in the future!
